In 2005, Mr. Misra was designated as a Senior Advocatein 2005 and in 2014, elected as the president of Orissa High Court Bar Association. In 2014,while continuing as the President of Orissa High Court Bar Association, Mr. Misra was appointed as the Advocate General of Odisha. Mr Misra has led highly challenging and complex matters, appearing in courts across India – from Revenue Courts to State High Courts to the Supreme Court of India.

He specialises in several fields of legal practice and most notably in Civil and constitutional matters,cases relating toArbitration and Conciliation, including international commercial arbitration, litigations on breach of contracts and enforcement of contract, Tender and mining matters along with matters relating to Companies, education and service.Mr. Mishra has further been appointed as an Arbitrator inseveral complex contractual disputes.
