Soumya Mishra is an advocate enrolled in the Orissa State Bar Council and practiseslaw at the SPM Legal Chambers.He has over 12(Twelve) years of experience in appearing for matters before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, National Green Tribunals, National Company Law Tribunals, Debts Recovery Tribunals, Sub-ordinate Courts and other Tribunals in resolving Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Over the last decade, Soumya has led and resolved tough cases including – but not limited to – different civil, specific performance of contract, education service, criminal appeals, first and second appeals against orders and arbitration matters and corporate and institution-related cases where he has demonstrated strong legal expertise.

 

Soumya completed his B.A.L.L.B with honours from the esteemed erstwhileMadhusudan Law College, Utkal University, Odisha before earning his master’s degree of L.L.M. in International Business from the University of Southampton, located on the south coast of England and ranked among the top universities in the world. A promising law student, Soumya received numerous awards for demonstrating leadership, passion for law, participation, and outstanding performance in both intra and inter-state law school moot court competitions.

 

Soumya’s willingness to supervise, mentor and train interns, law students, and law enthusiasts has seen him share his knowledge and experience as an adjudicator in several moot court competitions organized by different universities.

 

Outside of work, Soumya is an automobile enthusiast, weekend gamer, hobbyist photographer, globetrotter, dog lover, and above all, a true family man.
